Afterthought: A new liturgy
Every Wednesday night, hundreds of 18 to 20 somethings gathering together with the vision of becoming whole and remaking the world. The all worship night, led by Aaron Niequist, breathed life into that vision as hundreds gathered to participate in a beautiful worship experience. However, this wasn’t like the typical worship gathering you might be accustomed to. This was “A New Liturgy.” A worship experienced designed to focus the community together in one voice as the body of Christ to help us say, “Yes, God, I’m in. Here I am…send me!”
Space was given, and time was spent praying for our world. Praying for the people in our lives. And yes, even praying for our enemies. It was a deeply moving experience that connected the hearts of the people together, declaring in one voice the commitment to being the hands and feet of Jesus in restoring a broken world.
If you happened to miss Wednesday night, your absence from the body was deeply missed. But there is good news! Sink into a comfy chair, slip on some cozy slippers, and put on your headphones because you can experience the liturgy from Wednesday night yourself right…
